SportsMania is a dual-role digital platform designed to connect athletes (Players) with sports venue owners (Venue Owners). The platform facilitates the discovery, booking, and management of sports facilities across Pakistan.
Revenue Model
Our business operates on two primary revenue streams:
1. Platform Commission (Pay-as-you-go)
For standard venue listings, the platform facilitates bookings between players and venue owners.
When a player makes a booking, the payment is processed through our integrated payment gateway.
SportsMania deducts a 10% commission + applicable service charges from each successful booking.
The remaining balance is transferred to the Venue Owner's registered account.
2. Venue Owner Subscriptions
For Venue Owners seeking advanced features and lower per-transaction costs, we offer a subscription model.
Venue Owners can purchase a subscription plan allowing them a limited number of premium venue registrations.
Under this model, the full booking amount is transferred to the owner (only standard service charges for the payment gateway are deducted; the 10% platform commission is waived or reduced depending on the tier).

After making a selection, Venue Owners can only change their revenue model twice a year.
Payment Gateway Integration
We utilise trusted third-party payment gateways to securely process all financial transactions within the app. Our payment process flow is as follows:
shopping_cartPlayer Checkout: After selecting a venue and time slot, the player proceeds to checkout. They enter payment details or use integrated wallets (e.g., JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or Cards) on a secure gateway page to complete the booking.
card_membershipSubscription Purchase: Venue Owners upgrading their accounts process their subscription payments through the same secure gateway within their dashboard.
currency_exchangeRefunds: If a booking is cancelled under eligible conditions (see our Refund Policy), the refund is initiated directly through the gateway dashboard back to the player's original payment method.
account_balancePayouts: Revenue owed to Venue Owners is aggregated and disbursed to their registered bank accounts via secure B2B transfers or gateway payout features.
